Adelaide Helena is a Writer and Director. She is currently developing a feature film while directing short-form films and commercials.

Adelaide’s background includes pre to post-production in NYC and Vancouver, but she is now living in Auckland, New Zealand focusing solely on Writing and Directing.

Going full circle, her latest short film 'The Wonder' premiered in NYC at the NYC Indie Shorts Film Festival 2022. With a taste and style mash-up consisting of everything from Disney to erotic thriller, she brings a refreshingly wide-eyed approach to her work, and although she has produced some beautifully serious work, she doesn't take herself too seriously.

One of her key strengths is her ability to work with a wide range of budgets and resources, always finding ways to create visually stunning and impactful work regardless of the constraints. She is also highly skilled in working with actors and can extract powerful performances from her cast. With her talent and drive, Adelaide is a rising star in the industry and one to watch in the coming years.
