Gareth Williams is an award-winning performer & filmmaker who has been working with Reel Factory for the past 6 months on various commercials for such brands as Tourism NZ, Kia and Air New Zealand. Always leading with a personable approach, Gareth’s mission is to get people talking and relaxed on camera – his time spent acting has been invaluable to crafting his skills as a Director.
A graduate of Toi Whakaari: NZ Drama School, he has received numerous accolades for a long line up of work including a nomination for the Billy T James Award, a Chapman Tripp Theatre Award for his work in Indian Ink’s, The Dentist’s Chair and Metro Magazine’s Newcomer of the Year for his role in the multi-award-winning Apollo 13: Mission Control.
In 2017, Gareth was script advisor on the multi-million dollar
musical Pleasuredome, which successfully debuted in Auckland. Also that year, Gareth formed Plus6Four Entertainment with David de Lautour and
Hannah Marshall to produce their first short film, The Conversation and subsequently the crime thriller series, Alibi, for TVNZ. Alibi launched to critical acclaim and has already been nominated for a swathe of awards in New Zealand.
