We are extremely excited to welcome Laura Sargisson to our pool of Directors!
Born and bred on the Canterbury plains, Laura is a salt of the earth character. She connects with people effortlessly, creating a non-intimidating production environment for talent, crew, and clients. First and foremost, Laura is a storyteller, passionate about sparking conversation, challenging the norm, and encouraging positive change. Her work demonstrates emotional, thoughtfully-crafted storytelling — even with the most sensitive of topics.
Laura has an incredible eye for detail combining aesthetic principals with rich story telling. She has not only terrific range as a Director, but also an uncanny eye for where media trends are going. Recently, Laura’s drive to create meaningful content led to her directing a historical conversation between Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern and former Prime Minister Helen Clark for UN Women Aotearoa. Laura brought the two world leaders together for a frank and honest conversation about gender equality in celebration of 125 years of women’s Suffrage.
Get in touch with Dan to enquire about Laura’s availability. We can't wait to get on to some fresh projects with her this year. You can find her bio and examples of her work here http://reelfactory.tv/laura-sargisson
